SERVICE & SUPPORT

Backed by tiered service agreements (SMA/SLA). All owners receive technical support and guaranteed spare parts.

For additional coverage and scheduled maintenance, ask about premium service tiers.

This is an interim stub — sitemap wants a fuller "Support & ownership" section (support cap, agreement clause references)

WHAT IS GANDALF

A compact benchtop machine that turns any cannabis material — from top-shelf flower to trim — into full-spectrum extract.

Gandalf is a unique craft cannabis extraction machine — a compact, automated benchtop system that converts harvested cannabis into full-spectrum extract — what most people call cannabis oil.

Any cannabis material can be processed: premium flower, trim, seed-rich material, fan leaves, or anything in between. Low-quality input produces high-quality extract — the yield will differ, but not the quality of what is extracted.

The key to the high quality, full-spectrum cannabis oil produced by Gandalf is the Quickwash approach. The short, precisely timed contact between plant material and IPA ensures that the desired compounds — cannabinoids and terpenes — are extracted, while heavier substances like chlorophyll, plant fats, and proteins are omitted. The result is a clean, rich extract regardless of the quality of the plant materials used.

Gandalf is made for small- to medium scale producers of high-end cannabis extracts. Both private and professional users will benefit from the high quality of the Gandalf extracts.

Hardware

HARDWARE

Proprietary 3D-printed parts, paired with components from trusted suppliers.

The hardware is a combination of our proprietary 3D-printed parts and parts from high-quality suppliers.

Glass parts, fittings, the pump, step-motors, the power supply etc. have all been carefully sourced from reliable suppliers.

Valves, lids, filter holder, top- and bottom parts (basically anything white on Gandalf) is our own proprietary design and 3D-print — including the airtight, food-safe parts and the structural "exo-skeleton". Electronics and PCBs are proprietary designs too, sourced from trusted manufacturers.

Engineering

ENGINEERING

Modular, inside out, simple, useful — built to be opened, not hidden.

Learning from years of experience in both cannabis extraction, design and engineering of extraction equipment, we decided from the beginning to build Gandalf to be:

  • modular: easy to access, repair and (re)configure
  • inside out: built as an open structure, for overview and accessibility
  • simple: the simplest solutions are the most robust
  • useful: everything is designed from an end-user perspective
Interface and Software

INTERFACE AND SOFTWARE

Step-by-step control over timing, temperature, and distillation — tailored to every run.

The software interface walks the operator through each step of the process, giving direct control over timing, temperature, and distillation parameters — making it straightforward to tailor every run to your specific plant material and desired output.

The software is tailor-made code running on a Linux platform, made to meet a number of purposes. The code provides the user with vital information and options, and combines user- and sensor input to sequence and run hardware functions.

ROI

Your harvest, fully realised.

A 1 m² indoor grow can produce approximately 200 vape cartridges per year — at retail values between €5,000 and €11,000. Gandalf pays for itself within the first grow cycle for most operators.

Material that would otherwise be discarded — trim, small buds, fan leaves — can be processed into full-spectrum extract with the same quality profile as a premium run. Gandalf turns a waste stream into a revenue stream.
